Olivia DiMaio has been an amazing journey that I have built on the fundamental value that education is not only what a child is taught but a realm of different experiences. Every child’s experience at Olivia DiMaio is guided by my belief in early education for children. Before owning Olivia DiMaio, I was an elementary school teacher and I have always believed that education is not memorization of concepts but knowledge through experiences. Each day I am dedicated to making sure that every child and parent has the best experience at Olivia DiMaio.
I graduated from the St. Clair College Early Childhood Education program in the summer of 2002 and have been a qualified Early Childhood Educator for 7 years. When I joined the Olivia DiMaio team in 2008, I knew it was the right fit for me. Working with children everyday, both at work and at home, has been such a great learning experience. I love my job and, more importantly, I love how much my kids enjoy learning here at Olivia DiMaio.
I have been working with children for over 20 years and have a diploma both in Early Childhood Education and as a Child Youth Worker. My experience in the field has taught me that, although I am the teacher, I will constantly be learning from my students. Working with children is such a rewarding way to spend my life and I can honestly say I look forward to work everyday. I am truly blessed and I look forward to sharing and learning with your child!
I’m Margaret, but here at the centre everyone just calls me Miss Peggy! For 22 years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping children learn and grow. I became a Registered Early Childhood Educator in December of 2008 and, for the past 18 years, I’ve been a supervisor and a classroom teacher here at the centre. I make a point of keeping current with industry trends so I can provide the best and most up to date programs. I look forward to meeting you and your child and welcoming you both to the Olivia DiMaio family!
